Each year, Asian Paints collaborates with experts from a range of creative disciplines—art, architecture, interiors, fashion, sociology, media and FMCG – to put together ColourNext, a comprehensive forecast of trends in colours, materials, textures and finishes that's relevant for the subcontinent. Over the course of a year, as these trends become more evident across design fields, they validate our research and motivate us to start fresh every year.
ColourNext 2022
ColourNext is the annual colour forecast for Indian interiors. Targeting architects and interior designers through an exhibition, digital and print media, this excercise has been instrumental in positioning Asian Paints not just as a manufacturer of paints but a market leader and proactive visionary.Each year, Asian Paints collaborates with experts from a range of creative disciplines—art, architecture, interiors, fashion, sociology, media and FMCG – to put together ColourNext, a comprehensive forecast of trends in colours, materials, textures and finishes that's relevant for the subcontinent. Conceptualising the Visual Language
The Visual Language that was conceptualised and designed for the Colour of the Year - Transcendent Pink - was used across all collaterals and designs namely Exhibit Graphics, Web Experience, Print collaterals and for the Souvenir as well.The idea sprouted from transformation of a catterpilar into a butterfly to highlight the ideas of being in a state of constant transition, the mind being in metamorphosis and it having the ability to re-imagine the now and beyond.
