Digital Narrative for ColourNext 2022

Spatial design retold as a web experience

The ColourNext 2022 website has been carefully designed and developed to provide the users with a rich experience on the web. The contents of the website are represented in a manner that is visually stimulating, immersive and expressive like the four themes of this year’s ColourNext.

We created an immersive online experience for the audience of ColourNext to take them through an interactive journey of the four trends—Hope You’re Well, Artify, Solo Commerce and We/Us along with Transcendent Pink, Colour of the Year 2022.

Storytelling through intricate illustrations and animations make the digital design more captivating and highlight the nature of the four trend forecasts.

Micro interactions and animations that accentuate the essence of the stories

The trend stories consist of micro animations that are triggered upon scroll. These were made to portray the nature of the trend and the colour interaction has been illustrated to make the users understand the palette and the trend better.

In today’s fast-paced world, most of the information we perceive is through our mobile devices as it is the most accessible device to communicate ideas and reach out to a wider audience.

Keeping this in mind, we adapted the desktop design for mobile devices and tablets to incorporate a larger audience in the viewership of the website.
