A play of fibers. Some handspun, some machine-made. The incidental, the intentional and the improvisational are inherent ingredients of this play.

TEXTILE ART . INSTALLATION DESIGN

Cu+Fibers

Hemp, jute, copper and upcycled cotton yarns are the material components of this exhibition. A free-flowing journey that starts with a broad intent and material knowledge gradually becomes a series of tiny visible ideas. Coaxing, manipulating, responding, iterating, forming, connecting, discovering, reconnecting, incorporating — a continuous engagement guided by the intermittent joys of small discoveries. The exhibition is an aggregate of these joys, as a series of visible islands, moulded by light.
